Is it just me or…
…are more and more people saying things like “Is it just myself or…”?
And am I the only one feeling somewhat irrationally unnerved by this grammatical incorrectness?

No we share your sense of irritation - but maybe that’s just an inherited gene we have landed you with !! Even worse is “me, myself” - or “I myself think this etc.” - who else would it be for goodness’ sake?
And another one is “how’s yourself”?
Just don’t even ask Dad about it - he goes into total aarrgghh mode!
